About the Project
SALAMA was built and shipped in one week during a live UAE crisis. It aggregates verified information from 10+ official UAE government sources, fact-checks social media claims using Claude API, tracks sentiment, and answers natural language questions with citations. The speed of shipping was the point -- during a crisis, wrong information is worse than no information.
